Features & Benefits

Sharpness That Lasts

The chromium German steel blades feature a 13-degree angle edge designed to make fine cuts and stay sharp.

Fully Forged Construction

A single bar of steel is heated and hammered into shape, creating a durable, long-lasting blade.

Full Tang Blade

One piece of steel through the blade and into the handle, providing balance and eliminating weak spots.

THE ALL ROUNDER

8” Chef's Knife

A classic all-rounder and the the most versatile of kitchen knives. Perfect for fine cuts using the tip of the blade, everyday chopping and heavy lifting like slicing through your favourite cut of meat. The broad, flat blade is great for crushing garlic or bruising foods like lemongrass.

THE CHOPPER

7” Santoku knife

A multi-purpose knife suited for cuts big and small. Santoku can be translated to ‘three virtues’ or ‘three uses’, which means it's ideal for mincing, dicing and slicing. A flatter, more linear, cutting edge limits rocking and ensures a more even landing from knife heel to tip, ideal for single downward cuts.

JAGGED BUT GENTLE

8” Bread Knife

Slice all kinds of baked goods, from baguettes, brioche, bagels and biscuits to cakes, pastries and everything in between. Cut tomatoes and soft fruits, or trim a pineapple or melon. Slice cheese and salami, or even carve up a roast in a pinch. Try shredding lettuce and cabbage too.

THE EXACT ONE

3.5” Paring knife

This smaller blade offers versatility and greater precision than larger knives, for finer cuts, exact slices, and delicate tasks like peeling, trimming, and removing seeds. An ideal choice for small fruits and vegetables like strawberries and brussel sprouts.

DETACHABLE BLADES

Kitchen Shears

Perfect for herbs or cutting meat, such as sausage or steak, into bite-sized pieces. Use them beyond the kitchen in the garden to cut flowers or greens and for odd jobs around the house.

SET THE TONE

Sharpening Steel

This underrated tool aligns or ‘hones’ the knife blade, without removing steel (unlike a sharpener), for quick and easy alignment to keep blades sharp.

THE PERFECT ADDITION

5" Steak Knives

Don’t let the name fool you, steak knives aren’t just for steaks. They are more powerful than your average table knife, and with smaller exposed edges in the serrated blades, they stay sharper longer. The 5" saw-like, serrated blade makes it easy to slice through crusty cuts like roasts, ‘biting’ down on meat with ease.

MULTIPLE STORAGE OPTIONS

Magnetic Knife Blocks

Made from acacia wood, the steak knife blocks attach easily to the sides of the Kilne Magnetic Knife Block or to each other to standalone. The soft wood inside is gentle and won't dull your knives.

So Very Satisfied !

For a number of years now, I have been reviewing a number of knife sets, looking for a quality product at a reasonable price. I have found that in the Kiln Ultimate Set. The knives are very sharp, the handles are well designed and just the right weight to hold. It is pleasure now to prepare a meal using these knives. Very pleased with the product and the company.

Things of beauty

Love the slim size, the magnetic option for steak knives, or not, and the gorgeous wood. The knives feel balanced in my hand and are comfortable to work with. Only once comment-perhaps the bread knife would be better placed in the block, at the top, near the steel. For me, that is a superfluous item, not reached for frequently, in comparison to the santoku and chef knives. I find it a but awkward, but that is purely preference.
