Use & Care + -

Wash your knives before first use.
To keep knives sharp, hand-washing is recommended. All Kilne knives are dishwasher safe.
Use a wood or plastic cutting board. Cutting onto metal, glass or stone surfaces can dull or damage knives.
Cutting frozen foods can also damage your knives.
Store knives in a knife block or on a magnetic strip to keep them sharp and protected. Keeping knives loose in drawers can cause premature wear and tear.
Serrated knives need to be sharpened differently than your other knives (and less often). Invest in a ceramic sharpening rod (the Kilne Sharpening Steel is not designed for serrated knives) or take your bread/steak knives to a professional for sharpening.
