Santoku can be translated to ‘three virtues’ or ‘three uses’ – which means this knife is ideal for mincing, dicing and slicing. It's an incredibly versatile chopper and fully-forged with chromium German steel.
I most recently purchased this Santoku knife to add to my other Kline knives. I have not used it very long but it appears to be working as well as the others. I have had the chef, bread and paring knives for approximately 2 years. They have kept their edge with minimal honing and continue to perform exceptionally well with very regular use.
