C'est un excellent couteau polyvalent, parfait pour les coupes grandes et petites, et comme il est plus plat que le couteau de chef, il convient mieux aux coupes simples vers le bas. Doté d'un tranchant Granton (des alvéoles ovales le long de la lame du couteau forment de petites poches d'air entre la lame et les aliments lors du hachage pour éviter que ceux-ci ne collent).

  • Mo — Molybdenum: Increases toughness and reduces the likelihood of chipping.
  • V — Vanadium: Improves grain structure and durability to reduce wear.
  • 15 — Chromium Content: 15% chromium increases the resistance to oxidation and corrosion and allows the classification of ‘stainless steel'.
Use & Care + -
  • Wash your knives before first use.
  • Use the back or topside when scraping food off your cutting board. Us the sharp side will dull your blade.
  • To keep knives sharp, hand-washing is recommended. All Kilne knives are dishwasher safe.
  • Use a wood or plastic cutting board. Cutting onto metal, glass or stone surfaces can dull or damage knives.
  • Cutting frozen foods can also damage your knives.
  • Store knives in a knife block or on a magnetic strip to keep them sharp and protected. Keeping knives loose in drawers can cause premature wear and tear.
  • Although Kilne knives are designed to stay sharper longer, we still recommend you sharpen or hone them often. See FAQ for more details.

Game changer

This is a beautiful knife! I’m not a cook, nor do I enjoy cooking, but this knife is amazing for cutting up veggies. I guess all of my knives previously have been terrible, so using the Santoku knife is a real pleasure. Sharp, nicely balanced. No effort required. Love it !

Best bang for the buck!!

I most recently purchased this Santoku knife to add to my other Kline knives. I have not used it very long but it appears to be working as well as the others. I have had the chef, bread and paring knives for approximately 2 years. They have kept their edge with minimal honing and continue to perform exceptionally well with very regular use.
