Tout comme le couteau de chef original, le couteau de chef court est un couteau polyvalent super versatile, idéal pour les coupes fines avec la pointe de la lame et toutes les tâches quotidiennes habituelles de coupe et de hachage.

La lame large et plate de ce couteau de chef court est également idéale pour écraser l'ail ou meurtrir les aliments. Utilisez l'arrière ou le dessus lorsque vous grattez les aliments de votre planche à découper ; utiliser le côté tranchant émoussera votre lame.

  • 50 — Carbon Content: 0.5% carbon offers good hardness, which results in good edge retention. The blade stays sharper, longer.
  • Cr — Chromium: Ensures high rust resistance in the finish of the blades.
  • Mo — Molybdenum: Increases toughness and reduces the likelihood of chipping.
  • V — Vanadium: Improves grain structure and durability to reduce wear.
  • 15 — Chromium Content: 15% chromium increases the resistance to oxidation and corrosion and allows the classification of ‘stainless steel'.
Use & Care + -
  • Wash your knives before first use.
  • Use the back or topside when scraping food off your cutting board. Us the sharp side will dull your blade.
  • To keep knives sharp, hand-washing is recommended. All Kilne knives are dishwasher safe.
  • Use a wood or plastic cutting board. Cutting onto metal, glass or stone surfaces can dull or damage knives.
  • Cutting frozen foods can also damage your knives.
  • Store knives in a knife block or on a magnetic strip to keep them sharp and protected. Keeping knives loose in drawers can cause premature wear and tear.
  • Although Kilne knives are designed to stay sharper longer, we still recommend you sharpen or hone them often. See FAQ for more details.

Awesome Knife!

Since receiving this knife it's been the one I reach for 98% of the time. As someone with smaller hands, I have better manoeuvrability and control with it than some larger knives, and hence it's become my go to! Lives up to it's claims: sharp and precise, good balance and overall just a great chef/utility style knife!
