Use & Care + -
  • Wash your knives before first use.
  • To keep knives sharp, hand-washing is recommended. All Kilne knives are dishwasher safe.
  • Store knives in a knife block or on a magnetic strip to keep them sharp and protected. Keeping knives loose in drawers can cause premature wear and tear.
  • Although Kilne knives are designed to stay sharper longer, we still recommend you sharpen or hone them often. See FAQ for more details.
  • Hand-wash your cutting board after every use and let dry on a cleaning rack. This will allow air to access the entire surface of the board, promoting even drying. Avoid the use of a dishwasher as the high temperatures and moisture could result in cracking and warping of the board
  • We recommend oiling your cutting board every month (or when it feels dry to the touch) using a food grade mineral oil and soft, clean cloth. This will increase the longevity of the solid acacia wood.
